Rename?

[edit]

I propose that this article should be renamed Jane Morris, as that is the name most commonly used (per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (biographies)). Currently, Jane Morris redirects here, so the change woould need to be made by an Admin. - PKM (talk) 01:37, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Who ever heard of "Jane Burden"? Of course it should be renamed. Rwflammang (talk) 19:44, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
And done! - PKM (talk) 18:24, 20 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Relationship with Rossetti

[edit]

Are we sure that her relationship with Rossetti was non-sexual? A number of authorities are uncertain or ambiguous on the subject. Perhaps that should be the emphasis: i.e. we can't be sure. IXIA (talk) 07:23, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Marsh's quotes from Jane's letters in later years suggest quite strongly that it was sexual. Let me see if I can find something we can quote. - PKM (talk) 01:43, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes - I read Jan Marsh a couple of years ago and I think that must have been in the back of my mind! Thanks. IXIA (talk) 15:47, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
