Previous deletions

[edit]

Article on this topic has been deleted 4 times previously under the proper name of Jami Deadly, most recently on 25 January 2007 for CSD A7. Notability of this topic needs to be established in the article, with proper inline citations, or this article needs to be deleted again. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 22:02, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK so the article has now been renamed from Jami deadly to Jami Deadly, but Jami Deadly has still been deleted 4 timed before; see this link. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 22:48, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Jami Deadly article

[edit]

The Jami Deadly article has been deleted 4 times in the past, but is still not an accurate reason for deletion. The person of which the article is about is a popular entertainer. Others like Jami include,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heidi_Van_Horne

The Heidi Van Horne Article has little to no citations, and in comparision, the Jami Deadly article has citations. There should be no reason that the Jami Deadly article should be deleted while the Heidi Van Horne is still up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Marylynn 03 (talkcontribs) 23:01, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

See Wikipedia:Other stuff exists; this is not a valid argument here at Wikipedia for not deleting a deficient article. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 23:08, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion

[edit]

What does the deletion of the previous articles have to do with this new revised article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Marylynn 03 (talkcontribs) 00:36, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The bar is usually set a little higher for recreation of articles which have been previously been deleted multiple times (especially for CSD A7 issues) then for a "virgin" article. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 16:07, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Citations

[edit]

Myspace is not a reliable source for citations, as it is self published. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 22:09, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Jami Deadly article is currently still in construction. Realiable resources will be added soon. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Marylynn 03 (talkcontribs) 22:58, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

modernmarilyn.com is also not a valid cite, as it is also self published. You need to provide references that appear in reliable, third-party publications, not in primary sources, especially not ones published by and for the subject of the article. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 23:20, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
deadlycurves.com is also not a valid citation, as it is a self-published website website by & for the subject of this article. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 16:00, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The attempt to use iTaggit.com is also not a valid, as the cite is to a blog. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 16:04, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

SuicideGirls

[edit]

Is it okay to link to her Suicide Girls profile? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.180.191.218 (talk) 00:30, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The SuicideGirls citation should be valid on the means that the photos of the model on the website and the photos on the article are obviously the same model. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Marylynn 03 (talkcontribs) 22:53, 10 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That is not correct. Tthe images at that link are not irrefutably of the subject; they could easily be of a look-alike, which would be understandable given the subject herself actually performs as a look-alike. The whole situation with that link as a citation does not meet WP:CITE criteria. A WP:RS needs to be included that explicitly states that she was a SuicideGirl. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 20:33, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
