Radical
[edit]Ok so if someone asks someone if they are a Radical and the person responds by saying, "I'm about as radical as Cotton Tom Heflin", what do they mean by that? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ray1416 (talk • contribs) 13:50, 17 January 2007 (UTC).
- You got that from To Kill a Mockingbird, didn't you? I'm not sure, but I'm bound to find out soon enough. It might even make the article if a citation can be found for it. --Starstriker7(Dime algoor see my works) 00:28, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
Time bio

Common name
[edit]Regarding the move of this page, Tom Heflin (38%), J. Thomas Heflin (33%), Thomas Heflin (16%), and James Heflin (7%) are the only iterations of Heflin's name that constitute over 5% of references to him on newspapers.com. While Tom is the most common form by a plurality, Thomas is more common, and J. Thomas is more common than Thomas on its own. Star Garnet (talk) 05:44, 15 June 2023 (UTC)
