This is a reliable page for the songwriter and producer james flannigan, member of the band Stiff Dylans and is validated with links and references. (JFLAN88 (talk) 18:56, 19 March 2011 (UTC))
I 2nd that this is a reliable page. (Matttb (talk) 18:59, 19 March 2011 (UTC))
- I'm afraid he doesn't merit his own article, because as laid out at WP:BAND, members of notable bands are redirected to the band's article, not given individual articles, unless they have demonstrated individual notability for activity independent of the band, such as solo releases. If you can prove that he has individual notability, then please do. You might want to check out WP:N, and WP:NM. Jay Σεβαστόςdiscuss 20:04, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
- I agree with Jay Sebastos. Also, I think you should read WP:SOCK. Based on your editing patterns and account names, you're closely affiliated with each other as well as with the subject, which will cause trouble. Zakhalesh (talk) 20:34, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, Zakhalesh, it all looks very suspicious. I was actually tempted to file a report. Watch out - we've both got our eyes on you... Jay Σεβαστόςdiscuss 22:02, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
- I won't file a request for investigation now as, in case they're actually sock/meatpuppets, they (assuming good faith) weren't aware of the policy. However, now they are, and I'll file a request for investigation the very second I see these two (or any other likely sock/meatpuppet of them) participating in the same discussion or editing on the same matters. I'll also request investigation if they deny using sock/meatpuppets, because that leaves us no other options. Zakhalesh (talk) 11:37, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
- Although the users haven't edited since my last message, I'll play it safe and message them directly, as this page may be tricky to find, being a redirect's talk page. Zakhalesh (talk) 13:33, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
