[edit]I'm going to take down the part about how he "wanted to be drafted by division rivals Cleveland Browns" there are large chunks of Ohio that bleed black and gold from areas around Columbus to the NW Central to many of the "bordertowns" like the one Jack Lambert came from. Being a lifelong Steelers fan I do recall Jack's HOF Speech where he said emphatically that if he had it all to do over again he would be a football player and YOU DAMN WELL BETTER BELIEVE I'D be a Pittsburgh Steeler. If you knew Jack Lambert as a fan in the 1970s and 1980s you knew very well he never played to the crowd, controversial yes, attention grabbing yes, but you knew when he said something he meant it with every fiber of his being, so I doubt he was ever a Browns fan from the day he was born.Hholt01 09:22, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
My Hero
[edit]I am the best ever Pittsburgh Steeler fan and have been ever since seeing my first game which was against the Browns. When, while sitting in the end zone ( where the nasty Steeler fans were) I saw Jack Lambert thrown out of the game and had the opportunity to read his lips as he stomped off the field. He became my Hero and I watched him faithfully during every game I watched. I'm old now and live in Yuma AZ but I still watch every Steeler game at The Platinum. I wear the number 58 jersey and I still see Jack's influence on the field. My greatest thrill would be to meet him in person but I know that will never happen so if Jack reads this........just know you are still loved by one of many Steeler fans !!!

Super Bowl IX start
[edit]I think (and I mentioned this in an earlier edit) that of the 4 Hall of Famers that were drafted by Pittsburgh in 1974, Lambert was the ONLY one of the players to START ALL 4 Super Bowls of the Steelers' Golden Age. Should this be entered in? WAVY 10 Fan (talk) 02:29, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Empty Phrasing
[edit]"One hundred percent full speed" is a meaningless repetition and exaggeration. "Full" means 100 percent, and vice versa. 76.23.157.102 (talk) 08:38, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
Jack Lambert's teams
[edit]You state SEVERAL times that Jack Lambert played for the St. Louis Rams, including it in his vital statistics. He played his whole career with the Pittsburgh Steelers and in fact the Rams had not even relocated to St. Louis from Los Angeles by the time of his retirement at the end of the 1984 NFL season. This is a GLARING error. ```` —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.170.150.215 (talk) 04:22, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
