JP2 (disambiguation)JP2 – There is no evidence that Pope John Paul II is the primary topic for "JP2", and given that a plain Google Search returns many results for JPEG 2000, I think there is a case to say that there is no primary topic here. Move the disambiguation over the current redirect. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 12:22, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect to disambig

[edit]

@MB: 1) At the time of my edits the target page still had no disambig hatnote, and so was guaranteed to be wrong for anyone who needed the disambig. 2) The currect state of JP-2 and Jp-2 is still incorrect. If we are to take the above discussion as correct then there is no primary target and the redirects still need to come to this page. Certainly the current redirect target for those two pages is the wrong one. Invasive Spices (talk) 18:00, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Invasive Spices, I hadn't noticed the above discussion. There was no mention there that all the other titles JP-n go either to Jet fuel or have their own article (JP-4, JP-7, JP-8). I really don't see how JP-1 should have a PT of Jet fuel but not JP-2. This seem much more consistent to me, but there are always exceptions. I also note that JP1 and JP2 go to their dabs, only the version with the hyphen goes to Jet fuel. MB 18:41, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
