Italian high speeds

Actually, it's not true that they ran most trials at light weight. They did run them without ammo, but extra weights were carried to make up this difference. Running them light wouldn't have given useful information for the Italian Navy! The real reason was that they forced the machinery during trials, because they were paid extra per extra knot obtained.
