What does "political violence" during 1981 campaign refer to? Was it Palestinian violence or political violence among Jewish factions?

The current version is a result of my attempt at cleaning up Rasfone's additions from April 2017, which are basically written like an essay.
I can't see how any of the potential changes they've insisted on reverting back into the article (basically going back to their original set of changes) are beneficial – many are problematic in terms of MOS and grammar, and they are certainly contrary to the normal layout of elections articles. The main gist of their additions from last year is still there, but it's been formatted correctly. Unfortunately they seem to have taken ownership of the article and want their essay preserved in full, which simply isn't going to happen. Number5719:20, 30 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
