I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 21:28, 12 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • 1 DAB, no issues with external links.
  • No duplicate links.
  • It was suggested that Isa served as governor of Damascus in 861, but according to M. Canard this is a confusion This would read better if it said: It "has been" suggested and it needs a comma after Canard.
  • al-Mu'tamid is overlinked.
  • Were both Isa and Ishaq ib Kundajiq governors of Armenia at the same time, or did Isa give up that position when he abandoned Armenia around 878?
  • Typo I presume: wrested the city from him, and in 899 the rest of the Jazira from his heirs.
  • Images appropriately licensed.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 17:57, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Outstanding issues fixed, plus some rephrasing for better clarity. On the Armenian governorship, Ibn Kundajiq was given it nominally but never made no use of it nor any effort to actually translate it into reality, which is why Isa is still recorded as a sort of lame duck governor until his death. On the typo issue, if you are referring to "wrested", no, it is what I meant to write. Constantine 18:34, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No, "wrested" was fine; I think what I was reacting to was the lack of commas to set off "in 899", although I think that you could profitably move that to the end of the sentence so it's not an issue any more. But that's probably a matter of taste, so I'm not going to let that stop the promotion.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 03:25, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
