Copied text

[edit]

It looks like some text in the article is copied from The Customer charter in the Irish Film Board site

I suggest we change the name of the article

[edit]

Before this Article was "Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland", it was "The Irish Film Board", which "Bórd Scannáin na hÉireann" redirected to. As such, I think we should rename this article to "Screen Ireland", with redirects from BSÉ, IFB, and Fís Éireann. This is also backed up at WP:IMOS. Because I am all but certain that the article should be moved, I will do so in one week unless there is an objection.

I was only wholeheartedly agreeing with the very sensible suggestion from Allison. Thanks for sorting out the page move. (I should probably try to improve this article but it is a government funding agency, important but also incredibly boring.) -- 109.77.204.119 (talk) 20:50, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Fís Éireann/Screen IrelandScreen Ireland – Saw this comment in recent changes and reviewed this matter and believe that this article being at Screen Ireland is appropriate. Another IP editor in the above discussion linked to several reliable sources using "Screen Ireland" as a common name, and looking at mention of this organization in the past month shows just "Screen Ireland" showing up. (Googling for "Screen Ireland" will show "Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland", and while this shows up in results too, it's not very many compared to just "Screen Ireland".) So this seems appropriate per WP:COMMONNAME, especially being more concise without losing any value. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 17:22, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
