Interstate 440
[edit]Where can I read information on Interstate 440 that used to exist in Oklahoma? I am doing personal research on all Interstate/U.S. Highways in the U.S., however, I don't see anything about I-440, just like the person above.

- Best place to find info about old roads in Oklahoma is from old ODOT maps. [1] I-440 existed in the 1970s as a connector to I-35 to I-40 along the present I-44 route on OKC's northside. In the late 70s, it was renamed I-240 when it was extend to encircle most of the city. When it was decided to extend I-44 to Lawton in the early 80s, the portion that had been I-440 became I-44 and I-240 trimmed back to its present length. --Crimsonedge34 (talk) 08:27, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
Did the mile markers/exit numbers change?
[edit]The article notes the Interstate was extended to the southeast of Oklahoma City. I'd expect before the extension, mile 0 would be in the OKC area rathar than at the Texas border. If so, some of the exit numbers may have changed. Will (Talk - contribs) 19:15, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
