Origin of Name
[edit]Could anyone, better versed in this than I, comment or add material on the origin of the placename? My understanding is that the name comes from "Ing's raven," with roots in Old English and Norse pagan religious beliefs, Northumberland would, I assume, have been subject to considerable Norse influence from Jorvik/York. (I do realize that there are some alternate derivations of "Ingram"...) Thanks. Xenophonix (talk) 23:28, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
Population? History? Governance type?
[edit]Anyone who could look up the population and a few other basic facts about Ingram? Xenophonix (talk) 17:09, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
