I am suggesting the re-arrangement of religion names. Current arrangement seems to be in correct. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pdheeru (talk • contribs) 06:36, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
- The source lists the religions of Indians in Japan in this exact order. I see no particular reason to rearrange them. (I do however see lots of recent POV-pushing vandalism aimed at removing the "Islam" and "Christianity" entries from various NRI articles.) cab (talk) 06:44, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
Alphabetical order does not make any sense. Kindly see other articles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pdheeru (talk • contribs) 15:32, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
- Most other NRI articles lack any sources at all for their lists of religions. Instead they make the assumption that religions for migrants occur in exactly the same proportions as in India itself. This is original research, and in fact demonstrably false for other migrant groups (e.g. Korean New Zealanders have a very different religious profile than the South Korean population at large). cab (talk) 16:01, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
The source provided, merely lists the religions in alphabetical order and not according to the number of adherents. It will be prudent to change the order and follow other NRI articles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pdheeru (talk • contribs) 03:12, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- You are simply repeating yourself again and again without providing any actual evidence about the religions of Indians in Japan. It is not prudent to violate Wikipedia policies about verifiability and original research simply to push your desired point-of-view. That earns a block --- for example, in the case of the IP address 188.51.60.155 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), with whom you may be familiar ... cab (talk) 09:19, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
Since we do not have any reliable source for the religious population of Indians in Japan, in the list of religions we should clearly mention as 'as per alphabetical order' to clear the ambiguity. And also the source mentioned in the page is a dead link. Pdheeru (talk) 03:11, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
- The source Azuma 2008 is not a "link" at all. It's a BOOK. All of the other source links are working fine. And a dead link is not any excuse to remove information you don't like from an article, either. I added the information you suggest. cab (talk) 09:46, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
