Adding human interest
[edit]The “Boom” section of this article focuses on business rather than social history. The influx of investment and attention to the region must have changed the social fabric of the communities there, but the article at present does not reflect this. It would be helpful to see more personal perspectives (such as the poem in "Additional Links") worked into the main text.
