Article doesn't explain what Image Derivatives are
[edit]The article goes right into how to compute image derivatives without any kind of introduction explaining what they are, why they're useful, etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by The-Penultimate-Defenestrator (talk • contribs) 01:32, 26 May 2016 (UTC)
Notability
[edit]Hast derivatives are not notable enough IMHO. The cited article from 2014 has only 3 citations. It seems like self advertisement and should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.16.80.50 (talk) 15:08, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
Examples are in the proprietary code of a commercial vendor
[edit]Please replace examples using Matlab code with something I do not have to purchase in order to verify. [1] Hpfeil (talk) 20:40, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
