Missing from the stub are the following aspects of Roodenko's life: He self-identified as an anarchist (traditional definition, not the definition embodied in the contemporary nihilistic youth movement); he was a long-time active participant in War Resisters League; and he earned his living as a printer (he was the owner of a small printing company in New York). I can't cite references for any of this, as they come from my personal acquaintance with the man, briefly, in the late 1960s and early 1970s, rather than from any published sources.
