I think it is fair to list him as a jihadist, based on his interrogation. Another contributor called this "nonsense". Geo Swan (talk) 21:35, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
S'agit-il d'un frère musulman descendant d'Hassan al-Banna, comme les frères Ramadan ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.13.181.120 (talk) 04:29, 6 January 2017 (UTC)
Is Abdulrahman al-Aulaqi associated with AQAP?
[edit]Another contributor added that Abdulrahman al-Aulaqi was:
a 16 year old American teenager who had no connection to terrorism.
They excised that Abdulrahman was allegedly "associated" with AQAP. Young Abdulrahman may not have been a member of AQAP, or interested in AQAP. But his father was allegedly a spiritual leader of AQAP, I think that is enough to assert there was an alleged association between the younger Awlaki and AQAP.
Should the USA target Americans, like the Awlakis, with missile strikes? Should the administration be required to go to the judicial branch to get a 007 warrant, just as they have to go now for a search warrant or wiretap warrant? We are all entitled to our own personal opinions about drone strikes. But I think we have to be careful to refrain from editorializing, and I think this edit came close to editorializing that the younger Awlaki was an innocent kid who shouldn't have be targeted. Authoritative commentators have stated that opinion. And, with deference to WP:UNDUE and other policies, that position can be summarized -- in the article on Awklaki. It don't think it belongs here. Ibrahim Muhammad Salih al-Banna → Ibrahim al-Banna – People are always known by their first and last name. just like Hassan al-Banna. The name would be easier like this. Kiro Bassem (talk) 10:44, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
