Ian Anderson is a pretty big deal in the Twin Cities music scene. His record label is doing quite well, as is his online music magazine. He's opened for and interviewed major acts like the Hold Steady, so I don't see why this article should be deleted.

Not deleted but definitely revised.. "Ian is a really cool dude"? What kind of a sentence is that for the encyclopedia? 85.235.91.68 05:39, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ian Anderson and his label have received national press coverage (Spin, National Public Radio, MTV) and his band and other bands on his label travel nationally and are well-known in the indie community, nationwide. Locally, there is a sad case of an unfortunate mentally ill person who writes diatribes about various musicians (such as the third mention on this talk page, which sends you to one of this guy's letters); Anderson had to reluctantly secure a restraining order against this fellow. Wikipedia pages should not be about personal vendettas. Afternoon Records and Anderson are worth knowing about.14433kil (talk) 04:08, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
