Every now and again one finds a phrase in Wikipedia that causes one's colon to rise up and strangle one's brain. The notion that the Huon Pine is "cultivated" in the Huon Valley is something that only Groucho Marx might have entertained. I could be here all night explaining the details but life it too short. Trust me: the Huon Pine takes 1200 years to reach maturity. People with Huon Pine tables count the growth rings and indicate, half way past the desert forks, the point where Jesus was crucified. Nobody is "cultivating" this tree....Captainbeefart 14:33, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
