Complete lack of references

[edit]

The Malesia-Hoti-Kelmend articles give me a headache because they all have in common the complete lack of references. What actually surprizes me is that no one dares to either enter a reference nor to remove the evident OR. --Sulmues (talk) 20:09, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What cited content was removed?

[edit]

I have written 17k of text and bibliography to improve a very bad article that was all over the place and this user just deleted it with no excuse other than I "removed cited content". What "cited content did I remove"? The only cited content that is being removed here is 17k of text and bibliography I've written.--Maleschreiber (talk) 19:46, 3 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Rating

[edit]

When I started working on this article it was about 11k with very few sources and lacking essential content. Now, it's over 50k and I think that many essential aspects have been explored. Things I'd like to write more about: a) refugees from Hoti and where they settled. I'm waiting to get an article by Italo Sarro about tens of families from Hoti that settled in Italy in the 1830s b) better content for integration of Hoti in the Ottoman provincial system, bylykbashis of the five mountains etc. For this to happen, one particular book is needed: The bajrak in the old social organization, which I can't even find an online shop, where I can buy it. Now, I have to ask: how does the rating of an article change? This one has "start" rating. It's not that; in fact, the rater app thing says that it stands at "FA 78%". Also, do you think, this can become GA? @Resnjari:, @Ktrimi991:, @Calthinus:, @Bensola97:, @Fa alk:. --Maleschreiber (talk) 23:46, 10 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I changed it to B, which I think is fairly accurate.--Calthinus (talk) 01:20, 11 February 2020

@Calthinus: So, what would you say that could be expanded for this to go through the GA process?--Maleschreiber (talk) 01:47, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly what you said above. Then go for it. Even if you fail GA, the page will be improved in the process, so aside from wasting time, it's a win.--Calthinus (talk) 02:12, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
