The result of the proposal was move to Hiv, Iran and point redirect at HIV. The base title is much more likely to be used as a search term by people looking for the topic of the virus.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 14:02, 1 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hiv → Hiv (village) – Return this article to its former title so that "Hiv" can redirect to HIV. This village and Hiv Rural District will remain accessible via HIV (disambiguation), itself linked atop HIV. People living with HIV outnumber people living in Hiv more than 4000 fold. Also, the following pageview statistics (source) suggest >99% of the visitors to this page have a different destination in mind. Adrian J. Comment. I agree with the name change as many people may accidentally click on this link if they're looking for the HIV page however it should be changed to Hiv, Savojbolagh or Hiv, Iran and not Hiv (village). commyguy (talk) 15:15, 25 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Comment from nom: Right, I see Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names) discourages disambiguation tags as generic as "(village)".
