Repetition of the History section

Seems to me the sections 'History' and 'Historical development' are duplicates of each other, written slightly differently. I haven't the time to unify them, but someone ought to.—Ineffablebookkeeper (talk) ({{ping}} me!) 13:51, 30 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There's also some repetition in the 'Ropes, beads and prayers' section as well, which isn't named too clearly – I'm not sure what its purpose is.
