A query
[edit]- The sample in Characteristics is not Hismaic, it is a quote from the Qur'an — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jadhimah (talk • contribs) 01:11, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
- The date on that message is long before the date of any deleted or undeleted edit that is now at Hismaic (Old Arabic) or Hismaic. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:29, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
The corresponding "Ḥismā region" has no article
[edit]The "Ḥismā region of Northwest Arabia" is only mentioned here. If one wants to wikilink, there is no good option. Using "Hismaic" (script) as a target for "Hisma region" is the wrong way round, it's like putting the wagon in front of the horses.
Needed info:
- Where exactly is/was the Ḥismā region?
- Is the term restricted to a certain period?
- Etymology
- Ethno-cultural aspects.
Anyone? Thanks. Arminden (talk) 11:45, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
- Use Arabic article: Ḥismā region . Arminden (talk) 12:10, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
