Category change explanation

I have removed this article from Category:Religion by continent as that is a container category and as such should only contain other categories, not articles. The article is already in Category:Hinduism in Asia was is a sub-category of Category:Religion by continen in any case. Dunarc (talk) 20:10, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Problem with History section

The History section is off. Hinduism did not originate in the Indus Valley civilization nor can the IVC religion be described as "Hindu" in any meaningful sense. Hinduism originated in the Vedic religion of the Indo-Aryan tribes and the various accretions it picked up from neigbhoring cultures. But at its spiritual/ritual core it comes from the Historic Vedic religion which was the religion of the Indo-Aryan tribes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.80.94.66 (talk) 10:56, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
