The result of the move request was: Move. Cúchullain t/c 15:42, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
– No article for the other song. Unreal7 (talk) 13:46, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose: This very WP:RECENT article about a song (less than two months since release, less than three months since article creation) appears to fail WP:NSONG. It appears to contain no references with significant in-depth coverage of the song. All the references seem to just be chart lists or other such trivial mentions. Unless that situation is corrected, the article should be merged into the article about the album or the article about the artist. Mere short-term popularity seems to be the only thing established by the references, and the popularity of songs is highly volatile. —BarrelProof (talk) 17:53, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose - there's no WP:PRIMARYTOPIC here, of the 5 other "Hey Brother" songs mentioned in Billboard, and now all on Hey Brother dab, it looks like the George Harrison produced "Hey Brother" single of Beatles' blues session player Billy Preston is the most notable. Anyone interested in the Beatles probably hasn't even heard of the Swedish DJ Avicii, 2013 is too WP:RECENT. If in 2-3 years time "Hey Brother" 2013 is proven more notable than the other 5 "Hey Brother" songs put in a RM again. In ictu oculi (talk) 17:59, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
- Support Only article by this name? This is a no-brainer. --BDD (talk) 18:04, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
- Support. A number 2 in the UK Singles Chart and only article with this name? Obvious move. Zarcadia (talk) 18:55, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
- Support This move seems very obvious. This song is notable and has an article. The others do not have articles. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 00:36, 23 December 2013 (UTC)
- Support per BDD, Zarcadia and Taylor Trescott and given the age of this discussion I am tempted to close it.--Launchballer 11:15, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
