Glam metal

[edit]

Hello, I've done an improvement on the page, which is about the mark of their official debut of its use of glam metal due to more playful tones and the use of many bright colors compared to their previous album Passionworks, which uses a darker tone on their style. Even though it is mainstream rock like their previous album Passionworks, it is not the style they really use until this album. Since this edit is reverted, do you think the change is not that necessary? I mean, I don't like that change because I know this is actually true. Does it need any sources? Thank you! And I apologize for that convenience, even if my feelings are affected. - Aubreeprincess (talk)

Corporate rock?

[edit]

Should we add this to genre. These Dreams is pretty much the definition of corporate rock. Chairman Meow 22 (talk) 04:49, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is based on WP:SECONDARY sources. You would need to show that the song is called "corporate rock" by observers.
And "corporate rock" is a pejorative term, not really a genre by itself. It's like yacht rock that way. We would never list it as a song genre.
Finally, album articles list genres based on album reviews, not on individual songs. The listed genres should indicate overall album genre. Binksternet (talk) 05:51, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for clarifying this. Chairman Meow 22 (talk) 08:31, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. That makes sense to me. Chairman Meow 22 (talk) 22:06, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
