US-centric

[edit]

This is a very US-centric article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.164.181.9 (talkcontribs) 18:15, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There's a reason for that. In many countries, health care prices are about as notable as hamburger prices. Not so in the land of unregulated Charge Description Masters. Wbm1058 (talk) 03:13, 25 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Then perhaps the title should be amended to Healthcare pricing in the USA. If it's titled "Health care prices" a reader would expect a global perspective — Preceding unsigned comment added by BelalHaniffa (talkcontribs) 03:51, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, I think that sounds reasonable. 123chess456 (talk) 17:54, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed; I moved the article to a more appropriate title. -- Beland (talk) 01:03, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Health care is not a typical market" -- NPOV violation?

[edit]

The section "Health care is not a typical market" presents the viewpoint of one person. The assertions made in the section are debatable, and indeed are debated elsewhere, but the information is presented without any indication that these are anything but facts. I'm not sure what the right thing to do is--present differing views? strike the section? Larry Hastings (talk) 06:58, 9 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
