Innings Pitched

[edit]

The article credits Haddix with 12 1/3 innings pitched, but most references (including one cited by this article) seem to credit him with 12 2/3 innings pitched, and I'm about to correct the article as such. The discrepancy seems to be that on the walk off play that ended the game, the batter lost an apparent home run when he was declared out for passing a base runner on the base paths. As one run legally scored, it was still a game winning walk off hit, but Haddix seems to have been credited with that out (for an additional 1/3 inning pitched) on the play.
