Photo scaling

[edit]

IF anyone out there would care to scale this photo down as a head shot to an appropriate size, would be most appreciated. ericbritton 09:21, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Instead of using the "frame" parameter, you can instead use "thumb" with an additional parameter of "###px" -- where ### represents the size in pixels you wish it to be. I forget which length that parameter relates to... but I just fiddle with it until it looks good. --Bossi (talkgallerycontrib) 00:18, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Photos to use

[edit]

I have photos of Monderman that we could use here. How do I go about getting them on this page? See http://www.flickr.com/photos/sociate/sets/72157594576350426/ for the set. sociate (talk) 04:45, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The best way is to upload them to Wikimedia Commons. If those are your photos, you can upload them one-by-one via this page. If they are someone else's photos that you came upon in Flickr, you should this page. They're both actually the same thing, but the latter adds a little more user guidance and raises some flags for double-checking by the moderators. Unfortunately, the best way to upload multiple photos at once really isn't so easy... so I'll recommend just uploading one-by-one via one of the links above. That's actually why I've started just using Flickr & keeping everything cc-by-sa so that other people can make the effort to transfer them to Commons if they need them. Great photos, by the way. Cheers! --Bossi (talkgallerycontrib) 13:30, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks so much for releasing your images under a free license. I uploaded from flickr the one I thought to be the best. --Elekhh (talk) 00:10, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
