The result of the proposal was no consensus. --BDD (talk) 22:40, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
- Han Yang Ling Mausoleum → Yang Mausoleum (Han Dynasty)
- Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum → Xiao Mausoleum (Ming Dynasty)
- Qianling Mausoleum → Qian Mausoleum
- Maoling → Mao Mausoleum
– "Ling" literally means "Mausoleum". Follow WP:NC-ZH to avoid tautology. The changes would also make these pages consistent with the titles in Zhao Mausoleum (Tang Dynasty), Zhao Mausoleum (Qing Dynasty), Gao Mausoleum, Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor etc. Relisted. I think these are very good suggestions and I have already added a hatnote to the article on the Maoling to make sure it is not confused with the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong after the move.rm (talk) 00:42, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
- "Ming Xiaoling" etc is indeed a tautology; however, it seems that "[Ming] Xiaoling Mausoleum" ("xiaoling+mausoleum" 28,000+ Google hits) is a much more commonly used name in English than "[Ming] Xiao Mausoleum" ("xiao+mausoleum" 1,200 Google hits). The same apply on Google Books (201 hits vs 67). Therefore I would be in favor of either keeping "Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum" or using "Ming Xiaoling" as the name. -- Vmenkov (talk) 00:44, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose Maoling - everyone will think Mao Mausoleum means the Chairman Mao Mausoleum. In ictu oculi (talk) 06:49, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose - names such as Mao Mausoleum and Xiao Mausoleum, while technically correct, are rarely used and potentially confusing (per IIO's observation above). To avoid tautology in the title, it'd be better to remove the word mausoleum. -Zanhe (talk) 23:17, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
