The "Legacy" stinks highly of original research, and offers little clarification of certain subjects (new hollywood, etc).

If he directed Harold and Maud and The Last Detail

He sure is a better director than Spielberg or Lucas. Hollywood is very unfair.66.201.173.29

Peter Sellers

Peter Sellers picked Hal Ashby to be the director of Seller's pet project Being There as he was a big fan of Harold and Maude (see biography The Life and Death of Peter Sellers). Sam Dastor plays Hal Ashby in the TV film of the biography. MBG 119.11.15.47 (talk) 13:44, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article is of some importance, and is a good start. It plainly needs more citations to reach "B" class. It has some well-expressed opinions that are not backed up by citations and that may reflect original research. Easchiff (talk) 05:46, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
