Talk merged from article Keʻe Beach
[edit]following a trail of information -- this article states the location as a state highway, but doesn't mention what state. Is this on one of the Hawaiian islands? Which one? -- 68.9.246.121 (talk) 17:14, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
Move Proposal
[edit]Based on minimal research, it appears the official name of the beach is Ke'e Beach Park. I propose a move to reflect this. --Travis Thurston+ 07:29, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- I do not see any source with that name. It is a geographic feature, but the land is part of the Ha'ena State Park from what I can tell. So either leave where it is or merge with that park. W Nowicki (talk) 22:10, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- I support the merge. There is enough info out there to make the Ha'ena State Park article much better than it is. Adding the Ke'e info would be a good start. --Travis Thurston+ 17:52, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
Well proper orthography would be to use ʻokina instead of appostrophe, but I would say merge. However, I have gotten burned on my merges so would let you do that. Mahalo. W Nowicki (talk) 00:58, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
Looking carefully at a map, it seems the state park is where Keʻe Beach beach is, but not Haʻena beach (which might have a small county park). There is also a small settlement called Haʻena, Hawaii that redirects here, a bit to the east. Will try to clarify. W Nowicki (talk) 21:10, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
