Who's "Fou" in the last sentence of the "Northern Campaign" section? 63.110.128.82 19:12, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That was a reference to Kuai Che -- the source that I had indicated that his name is pronounced "Fou Che," but subsequently someone changed it to Kuai Che (which is correct based on another source that I've consulted subsequently) without changing that sentence. --Nlu (talk) 21:51, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It should be "Kuai". Anermay (talk) 16:27, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Geneologies

[edit]

Does anyone know of a source to trace geneologies in the Han clan or ancestral lands/villages? I remember reading that Han Yu is Han Xin's descendant. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hanfresco (talkcontribs)

I find that hard to believe, since Han Xin's clan was slaughtered. --Nlu (talk) 12:09, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I looked up Han Yu's biography -- and given that his seventh-generation ancestor was a Northern Wei general, I'd find more likely that Han Yu's ancestor was Xianbei. --Nlu (talk) 12:14, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm curious about this bio of Han Yu you speak of. Where can I get more info on it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hanfresco (talkcontribs)
