Article Name
[edit]Gidansda Guujaaw formally inherited a new name through potlatch, a northwest coastal legal system, in 2017. I moved this article to reflect this name change, which is officially recognized at the Council of the Haida Nation page: http://www.haidanation.ca/?page_id=40 Shoutsofvictory (talk) 19:45, 10 December 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Shouldn't this follow the pattern of Political Leaders? i.e. show the previoius president etc. like in Jimmy Carter's entry: "Preceded by: Gerald Ford United States Order of Precedence As of 2006 Succeeded by: George H. W. Bush"

Additionally the formal office of President of the Haida Nation is "Nang K̲aadlljuus" in HlG̲aagilda X̲aayda Kil, and could be properly recognized in Haida language.
I don't know how to add this side-bar... but it is an excellent idea and I would be happy to learn if a link can be provided! I am just learning how to navigate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shoutsofvictory (talk • contribs) 19:28, 4 December 2019 (UTC)
It can also be added, "His other son, Jaalen, is an artist of note with many monumental carved works including "The Two Brothers Pole" at Jasper National Park and the "Gwaii Haanas Legacy Pole" at Windy Bay, Gwaii Haanas." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.235.76.153 (talk) 23:14, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
