Yesterday I edited this page to the Guildford, Surrey, BC link made more sense to me - but it has been changed back. Could someone explain to me what "Guildford is a town centre of Surrey, BC" means? it's the use of "of" that is confising me. --Kylet 10:53, 9 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It means it is one of six town centres that comprise the City of Surrey. town centres can be alternate commercial areas to the city's downtown. These centres are usually located within a large neighborhood and characterized by medium-high density commercial and residential property. --Kmsiever 02:30, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
