New Mexico Population
[edit]The article claims that a small introduced population is found in New Mexico. Can anyone find evidence as back - up for this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.213.190.17 (talk) 12:29, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
kudus have also been known to disappear into cover without being noticed to avoid chase
[edit]If they dissapear into cover not being noticed. So they appear there then just vanish as if by magic as nobody was paying attention to notice them leave? they are not incontrol of somone failing to notice them. The comment doesnt make sence.--203.192.91.4 (talk) 16:54, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
reference to hunting
[edit]I believe the naked reference to "hunting" (as causing declines in kudu numbers) wtihout further clarifiaction is misleading.
I just returned from the limpopo region of SA, where i hunted on 2 ranches that had over 10,000 head of plains game -- including hundreds (literally) of kudu. Prior to 1972, these two ranches were cattle ranches -- no kudu whatsoever. The commercial hunting has supported the reintroduction of kudu and other plains game to the point that it is teaming (teeming?) with wildlife. My suggestion is that "hunting" be replaced with "poaching" and "unregulated hunting". It is simply wrong to say that hunting is harming the kudu numbers when organized hunting is actually contributing to kudu numbers. (the rancher takes 300 head of game -- all types -- per year off both ranches.)

Driving at night
[edit]Is this also the buck one might hit if driving at night, or is that another type? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Felixandhisthoothbrush (talk • contribs) 09:20, 14 August 2013 (UTC)
