Content
[edit]Hi. Since the band member has nothing to do with Grant but that he may or may not look like Grant, I removed the sentence about this and the link to the other person's page. It's considered inappropriate to do that type of thing, providing links that aren't directly related to an article written in the NPOV. --VX 11:10, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- oops. Apparently vandals are putting in this type of content, who a person looks like, with links to unrelated articles, etc.... --VX 11:34, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
satire
[edit]There are amounts of evidence that is indesputable that reveal Grant sets up the 'encounters' in the ghost hunters television program. To ignore this evidence is performing a diservice. It should have a section with links to the youtube clips. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.18.29.75 (talk) 02:08, 14 May 2009 (UTC) YouTube clips do NOT = researched data. Find another site for that. I guess YouTube would be good. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.101.49.244 (talk) 12:31, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
his lengendarium
[edit]The article says, "Though his stories began with invented languages, he was not influenced in this by Tolkien, as he was not aware of the author until a later date." The new citation doesn't mention the invented languages or that Grant was unaware of Tolkien. I think, statements like this need to be more carefully worded to imply that these are his assertions or claims. For someone in his age range, it's hard to imagine that he was unaware of Tolkien when he started writing his lengendarium. I've reworded it a little, but would still like to see a reference that supports the "invented languages" statement. --JJLatWiki 23:43, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Would be better without the crappy add for TAPS events put in by a team member or fanatic freakin' fan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.73.52.103 (talk) 23:21, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- Please do not disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point. In the future, bring issues with content to the talk page rather than vandalising the article.
- I do agree that the section needs to be greatly improved or removed, which is why I added the {{advert}} and {{unreferenced section}} tags to the section. Personally, I believe that the section should simply be purged from the article - but I'm allowing time for those who made the contribution to fix the issues with the section. --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 23:41, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- I agree, it should be given a chance to be reworked even though the whole thing is probably just an ad for these TAPS 'trips' put in by someone who is profiting off them. It is at the very least clearly written by a fan of the show. 'Favorite ghost hunting guys?' Please! That kind of wording shouldn't be given this long of a chance. It flies in the face of everything wikipedia stands for, and also it is much more relevant to the Ghost Hunters or TAPS page than to Grant Wilson's personal page. The disgusting way these people milk the uninformed for money is enough to make me vomit, do they have to use wikipedia as a billboard to spread their unscientific lies and deliberate misinterpretations of their own evidence to even more unwitting dupes? --Ira-welkin (talk) 15:36, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
I think TAPS is perfect the way it is —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.105.134.190 (talk) 02:14, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
does anybody have any knowledge of how old he might be? (I am just very currious to the fact) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dragonmaster88 (talk • contribs) 03:07, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
South Park Episode
[edit]Why is it surprising/noteworthy that he didn't take offense at the South Park episode? Plenty of celebrities have been mocked on South Park without taking offense. I'm not calling to remove the reference, I just think that we should consider removing the first part of the sentence.AlexanderCahan (talk) 00:25, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
- I also agree that it's not notable. I also wanted to remove it. May I? serioushat 05:15, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
Died?
[edit]Um, Grant Wilson died? The same year he was born? In Australia? And he still managed to reach the age 36? What happened here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.123.29.32 (talk) 23:12, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
