Prefix
[edit]Is there a reason Tietjens' knighthood and prefix are not represented in the infobox in the common form (i.e. prefix/Name/suffix) @Paora you've reverted my edit, but just wondered if there was a particular logic to it. Many thanks. OGBC1992 (talk) 09:24, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
- @OGBC1992: Yes, there is a logic. Sir is a prenominal, and that is why it is also in bold in the lede as part of the subject's name. This is in contrast to honorific prefixes such as The Honourable or The Right Honourable, which are presented in the way that you describe above, and are not included as part of the subject's name in the article lede. Hope that helps! Paora (talk) 21:44, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
