Futurism
[edit]This article should not be linked to Futurism. Being a punk and a member of an artistic movement are far removed.

- Punk is/ is not an art movement.

- you're not an art movement!
- Anonymous comment added 25 August 2006 by 74.118.106.233.
That comment seems pretty ignorant - modern art has had a significant influence on popular culture, and punk has been a part of that influence. It's pretty much undeniable that the first wave of punks were influenced by situationism, dada and so on. How far Fucked Up're specifically futurist is still debatable, though. 81.157.185.62 11:56, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
why don't you dipshits get lives. wikipedia is not the place for this bullshit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.67.201.149 (talk) 16:32, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
Note at the top of the page.
[edit]Grue reverted my edit because it isn't needed. But I wanna know why, I mean "fucked up" is a commonly used term of the f word. So I think this would be a good idea since some people would look for the word fuck then they type fucked up. Well, I never looked for a banned then I typed fucked up, so what do you guys think? I will come here again some time tomorrow. TheBlazikenMaster 00:03, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- If you typed fucked up you used to go to a disambiguation page which linked to both this article and the word fuck. Recently someone made a plain redirect to this page. I think if someone is looking for usages of the word "fuck", they should go to Wiktionary or Urban Dictionary or something like that. This is encyclopedia here, not a dictionary. Grue 08:05, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- I never looked for dictionary entry, I looked for the encyclopedic article fuck. TheBlazikenMaster 13:13, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
Discography
[edit]Discographies usually only show the studio albums of a band, why are all these demos and mixtapes listed? I say the discography should be narrowed down to only show the two studio albums, or at least split all the other stuff off to another section. All this is great for dedicated fans of the band, but to somebody who knows nothing about it, it's just really confusing. Zazaban (talk) 21:08, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
- But this is an invaluable information for the record collectors. AFAIK, Wikipedia has the most complete discography of this band anywhere on the Internet. Grue 12:07, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- I'd agree that their demos and mixtapes should be separate, but not excluded by any means. Fucked Up tend to release only two or three songs at a time, and I'm sure they wouldn't put out a single full length if it were possible for them to do so. Overall I believe that their demos and mixtapes are just as integral to their discography as their full lengths. 99.238.229.53 (talk) 20:20, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- It would be a miracle if any self professed rock/punk fan EVER knew what they were talking about. A Discography is comprised of any recording a band has released to the public... PERIOD! Buster (talk) 04:59, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Reversed a lower court ruling?
[edit]That's useful information, except for the fact we're never told what that ruling WAS. 68.225.171.64 (talk) 06:55, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Festival of the Fuck Bands
[edit]Does anybody know whether this festival really took place? The linked article seems to be the only source, as all other references I can find link back to it (or to Wikipedia), but there seems to be no record of it in any contemporary or later German-language source.
