Was he killed in Ottoman or Persian territory?

In 1830, who exactly owned the territory in which he was killed? It looks like it was right on the border so reading his biography I can't quite tell. I'd like to name the specific polity instead of "Kurdistan". AlphabeticThing9 (talk) 00:05, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
