No reason for this article
[edit]There is no reason for this article. It covers exactly the same subject matter as the Frederikshavn article. I already explained on October 11, 2005 to the user who set up this article that the municipality name will not change after the Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007).
Please see additionally the discussion about using official municipality names at Talk:Municipalities of Denmark.
Before requesting that this article is deleted by Wikipedia, because it duplicates the subject matter and information in the Frederikshavn article, and because it is inconsistent with the naming of many other Danish municipalities— there should be an opportunity to discuss why this article might be valid.
Please do not make a general attempt to create new articles with this "XXX municipality (2007-)" format without discussing it. There are already existing articles that cover this subject. --SFDan 10:07, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
- This article should contain both information about the future and current municipality. The Danish Wikipedia's practice with duplicate articles is very poor style. We don't have duplicate articles about Odense Municipality either although it was enlarged in 1970 and around 1930. Many administrative units have experienced border changes several times, and duplicate articles will be next to impossible to maintain. Valentinian (talk) / (contribs) 13:44, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
