OK, I've given it a bit of a going over and I think the grammar is passable. The sobriquet "Tata Pachita" seems a bit odd, considering he was a chap. At minimum I would expect "Tato". It needs a bit more work to get some links. and I am unsure how to link it to the Spanish version, perhaps someone would be kind enough. The true portrait of General Francisco Garcia Salinas

Hi! Just saw that in Spanish Wikipedia a portrait of Francisco Garcia Salinas has been added to its page (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archivo:Francisco_Garcia_Salinas.jpg); and from there, the same portrait has been added to this page. Well, unfortunately, such image it's not the true portrait. Why? For several reasons:

1st. Garcia Salinas died in 1841, and the first photographs arrived in Mexico as Ambrotype around 1850; therefore, all his portraits are paintings and sculptures (among all his sculptures, the one standing in Paseo de la Reforma Avenue in Mexico City stands out: http://crisolplural.com/2008/10/16/el-sistema-representativo-en-el-siglo-xix-primera-parte/).

2nd. Garcia Salinas was a General and in almost all of his portraits, he wears a military uniform according his rank.

3rd. Garcia Salinas doesn't wear a moustache.
