Something's wrong here. The article says "His first win in one of the English Classics came in 1800, when he won both the St. Leger Stakes and the Epsom Derby on Champion." This does not tie up with the list of winners at Epsom Derby, where Buckle is listed as first winning in 1792, whereas the winning Jockey in 1800, on Champion, is listed as John Saunders.
