Album is actually called Francesco but has been referred to incorrectly as Francesco Zappa almost everywhere. Lets rectify this for good. Please alter title and search functions to reflect this. 84.50.207.44 (talk) 11:29, 9 May 2009 (UTC)Anonymous[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Zappa Francesco Zappa.jpg

[edit]

Image:Zappa Francesco Zappa.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Unclear where Francesco Zappa works were found

[edit]

The original wikipedia entry says UC Berkeley but this has no citation. An interview with Mark Pinske who worked with Frank Zappa says it was the Mormon's library. I added this information but left the UC Berkeley reference alone including the lack of a citation.

As an employee of the UC Berkeley Music Library, I have seen the letter from Michael Keller (then Head of the UCB Music Library) giving David Ocker permission to record the Francesco Zappa trio sonatas. The liner notes of the recording thank UCB and the Library of Congress for research assistance and mention no "Mormon's Library," whatever that might be.

Surely it is a hoax

[edit]

These are pastiche works composed by Frank - it is a joke (isn't it?)

Francesco Zappa was very much a real composer; it is not a joke. (see: obviously 18th-century manuscripts of several of his works digitized by European libraries) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.52.100.68 (talk) 00:21, 30 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Them or Us missing from the album chronology on this one

[edit]

I'm on a tablet so fixing it myself might not be too easy, but thought I'd just point it out. Psx1337 (talk) 12:22, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
