Section issue

[edit]

This[which?] section is nonsensical because T1 platform is the same basis of the P415 pickups. There is no such thing as the Ford P platform. The T1 platform was replaced by T3 in 2014 via the P552 F-Series and T3 also includes the P558 Super Duty and U553/U554 SUVs. Who writes this stuff? P221/P225

[edit]

I'm very glad that the P platform article was finally deleted, as it was a useless, misleading article. That being said, the originating basis for T1 frame, was the P221 pickup in 2003. Which in turn was modified by 2006 for the full-size SUVs and named T1, as the U222 and U228 were heavy revisions of UN-93 and UN-173. 2003 P221 was simply styled till January 2000 to look like the 2002.5 Expedition (a design approved in 1999), but they shared nothing. P415 F-150 was a heavy revision of P221 as we expected, as T1 was simply a 2008 revision of its existing 2003 frame. P552 and U553 were all new on replacement T3. We are planning "T5".--Carmaker1 (talk) 03:17, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion

[edit]

I want this article deleted or renamed and utilized for T1 only. There is no Ford T Platform, so T1, T3, and T6 need their own pages. T is merely a designation for DIFFERENT truck platforms, since 2006.
They are not unified nor are any of them the same platform in reality. They are all vastly unique and different from each other. This fake T Platform is the WP:OR work of User: Sfoskett in a long list. Given false credibility for years by ignorant Ford fanatics and bloggers with no deeper insight, but propped up more so by invested parties on Wikipedia, all without requisite CITATIONS backing ANY of it up!
Terribly misleading and an extremely double standard, considering that many users here make contributions and have their citations heavily scrutinized or edits entirely removed if unsourced. This fake platform names borne out of prefixes for designations is utter tripe and says a lot. If I wasn't the primary person coming out against this and other dubious edits of User: Sfoskett for other Mazda/Ford faux platforms, I only can wonder how much quicker adequate action would be taken?Carmaker1 (talk) 20:56, 5 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
