Article name
[edit]Two things: 1. The Icelandair name did not come into existence until 1979, 9 years after the crash. The plane is marked by the Flugfélag Íslands name and logo. 2.The spelling is wrong, it should be Flugfélag Íslands. Alvaldi (talk) 10:03, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
Support I agree with you, the name should be shortened similarly with American Airways Flight 1 (1936). Username006 (talk) 10:30, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
- In my opinion, Flugfélag Íslands Flight 704 would be the most logical name for the article. Alvaldi (talk) 11:18, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
@Alvadi: Agreed. This should be called so Username006 (talk) 11:27, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
The flight number is conflicting
[edit]The flight number doesn't seem to be accurate as baaa-acro seems to reefer it is flight 701 whereas ASN refers to it as 704. I'm not sure which one we should obey. Should we put it as a footnote that some sources refer to it as 701 whereas others say it is flight 704. Username006 (talk) 05:25, 11 July 2021 (UTC)
