Reflets d'Allemagne for piano?
[edit]@Smerus:, Gerda Arendt. I was just listening to Reflets d'Allemagne and it doesn't seem like it's for piano. Can you look into it? Brilliant composer, one of the most underrated IMO. † Encyclopædius 18:26, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
Ah it is, but I was listening to an orchestral version of it!!† Encyclopædius 18:27, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
- fr:Reflets d'Allemagne, - perhaps LouisAlain would like to translate? Never heard. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:27, 27 December 2020 (UTC) Done LouisAlain (talk) 03:11, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
- Never warmed to Florent Schmitt, I'm afraid.....All best for 2021, --Smerus (talk) 20:55, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
@Smerus: Emotionally, nope, doesn't do it for me overall, not easy to "warm" to in that respect, though there are some highly moving and dramatic elements to some of his compositions. He is highly impressive technically in my opinion, everything I've heard is very interesting to listen to. † Encyclopædius 18:07, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
