History

I would like to see a history section, for previous versions of the flag. I know there used to be one with the British flag, instead of the sheild. Colt .55 (talk) 18:20, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Renaming to "Flag of eSwatini"

The current common name (WP:COMMONNAME) for the country is still Swaziland, not eSwatini. For this reason and for consistency with other articles, do not change the name to eSwatini until there is a clear consensus that the common name has changed. If and when the common name in media changes, the name can be changed. For a similar case, see Flag of Czech Republic in which the name Czechia is not mentioned.
