Appropriateness of page
[edit]It might be possible to reformat this page into a biography of Irene Ang, who, if the claims given in this article can be backed up with reliable sources, might have enough second-party coverage for a Wikipedia article. It does not appear as though FLY Entertainment will meet the same standards of sourcing. If you need guidance in doing this, drop a line on my talk page. --Gimme danger (talk) 07:55, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
Sorry, I'm abit confused. My focus is not on Irene but the Artistes, Films and Theatrical productions which FLY Entertainment has produced. May I enquire how can I improve my article? Plumblume (talk) 08:04, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
- I understand. Wikipedia has a policy called verifiability, which, in brief, means that whatever is said in an article should be backed up by a source listed in the article. We also like when these sources are produced by people who are unrelated to the subject of the article. Now, I'm looking online and I can't find anything that anyone has written about FLY entertainment. However, if Irene Ang, who founded the company, has won all these awards, then there's probably been some press coverage of that. And in her biography, again, if you can find a source that says this, you could write a section about the company she founded. We could make this page into a redirect. And then not all of your work will be lost.
- Another way to improve this article is to make sure that you are using neutral language. To understand what you're shooting for, maybe look at one of our best articles about a company, Elderly Instruments. The text is written in a way that is accurate without being promotional. Let me know if you need any more help. --Gimme danger (talk) 08:26, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
- You've done a lot of work on this article, but you haven't added any reliable, independent sources that talk about Fly Entertainment in any depth. --Gimme danger (talk) 10:09, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
