DOB, Notability?
[edit]The article states "Eylül Cansın was born in 1992. She died shortly before her twenty-fourth birthday" which does not make sense. That would make sense if she was born in 1991, if the present year is 2015. It would also make sense if it read "shortly before her twenty-third birthday".
Also, I'm not sure how notable the subject of this article is. It may be the case that this article may be notable following the similar article Leelah Alcorn which recently survived a deletion debate.--86.190.67.16 (talk) 16:24, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

Objection to page move
[edit]User:Thsmi002 moved this page from Eylül Cansın to Death of Eylül Cansın with the edit summary of "Subject's death is central to the notability of this article". This move was put forward during the recent AfD, and the only support was from the editor who originally had made the nomination for deletion. The majority of editors taking part did not support this move. Having made a suggestion to move the page that was not supported, moving it anyway seems contrary to Wikipedia's core principles.
Unfortunately the redirect page would have to be deleted to move the page back, which I don't have the rights to do, otherwise I would have reverted the move. --John B123 (talk) 16:09, 16 July 2019 (UTC)
- @John B123:, I didn't see any objections to the move in the AfD, but I am not opposed to you requesting to move it back or starting a discussion. My rationale behind it is based on the third paragraph in the lede of WP:BIO. I agree that Cansın's suicide is notable (hence my keep vote). Thsmi002 (talk) 16:22, 16 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Thsmi002: Come on, there is a significant difference between nobody objecting to your POV and people supporting it. --John B123 (talk) 16:45, 16 July 2019 (UTC)
